ULAA OrgullOSO Mentor Program:
Established in 2016 by the UCLA Latino Alumni Association, the ULAA OrgullOSO Mentor Program fosters meaningful relationships between ULAA scholarship recipients and Latino Alumni. Make a positive difference in the lives of our incoming UCLA Latino Alumni Association (ULAA) scholarship recipients by mentoring one of our Lantix/Chicanx Scholars. If you are selected, the time commitment per month will range between 4-6 hours. Mentors will be matched with only one student.
“When anything would happen to me, either good or bad, I would text her [the mentor]. She would give me feedback and make me feel better about myself…[She provided] encouragement, making sure I knew she was there for me and that I was not alone.” – Student
Applications will be accepted until Friday, October 19, 2019 at 9 p.m. Please contact our Scholarship Chair, Joshua Coronado ‘18 at email@example.com for more information.
